Unitech Machinery was commissioned by a prominent UK-based car supermarket to design and manufacture a comprehensive upgrade to their bodyshop facilities. As an existing client, the customer required a seamless transition to new equipment, with minimal disruption to their busy operations.

Facility Overview
The upgraded bodyshop was designed to optimise workflow and efficiency, featuring four combination spraybooth/ovens, two dedicated wheel booths, a paint mix room, and a gun clean room. This complete setup ensures every stage of the refinishing process is managed in-house, supporting high throughput and consistent quality.

The facility incorporates full downdraught airflow for superior paint application and finish quality. Direct gas-fired plant technology ensures rapid heating and energy efficiency, while integrated flash-off systems and high-velocity air blowers enhance drying times and productivity. LED lighting is installed throughout, providing excellent visibility and further reducing energy consumption.
Seamless Installation and Minimal Disruption
Understanding the importance of continuous operation for the client, Unitech Machinery delivered and installed the entire plant within a tight timescale. The project was carefully managed to ensure there was no interruption to painting operations, allowing the workshop to maintain its high output without delay.
